Donors
Donating blood takes 120 minutes and saves up to three lives
Donation hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Sunday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Walk-ins are welcome — if you message us on WhatsApp first, we can see you faster. Our hospital services run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Requirements
What you need to donate
If you meet these points, you can donate. If you're unsure about any of them, just ask — the medical interview makes the final call.
- Be between 18 and 65 years old
- Weigh more than 110 lb (50 kg)
- Bring any government-issued photo ID
- Sleep at least 6 hours the night before
- No alcohol in the last 24 hours
- Not be pregnant or breastfeeding
Before you come
How to prepare
Set aside 120 minutes
Between check-in, blood sample, medical interview, the donation itself and a snack, the whole visit takes about 120 minutes. It may take longer depending on donor flow.
Bring your ID
Any government-issued photo ID works: passport, driver's license, voter ID or professional ID. If you're donating for a patient, bring their full name.

What happens when you arrive
From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, these are the five steps of your donation. Together they take about 120 minutes.

What you take home
Every donation includes, at no cost, the tests we run to confirm you can donate safely.
Hemoglobin level
A small blood draw from a vein to measure your hemoglobin, white blood cells and platelets.
Blood type and Rh factor
You'll know your blood type for certain.
Basic medical check
Blood pressure, pulse, weight and temperature.
Infection screening
HIV, hepatitis B and C, syphilis and Chagas disease.
We give you your results after a successful donation
If the medical evaluation shows you're not eligible to donate today, we explain the reason clearly and confidentially, along with guidance on next steps.
Your doctor will let you know when your results will be ready. If any result requires follow-up, a physician explains it to you in person and confidentially.
