Privacy notice
This notice explains how we handle the personal data you give us when you book a donation appointment on this site.
PENDING LEGAL REVIEW BY HAIMA — this text is a working draft and must be reviewed and approved by HAIMA's legal counsel before it can be considered final.
Data controller
HAIMA Banco de Sangre, located at Av. Camino Nuevo 2063, Zona Este, Tijuana, Baja California, is responsible for processing your personal data. You can reach us at 664 684 0613.
PENDING: HAIMA must confirm its full legal name, registered address, and a dedicated contact for privacy requests.
What data we collect
When you book an appointment we collect only: full name, mobile number, email address, and your confirmation that you are 18 or older.
We do not collect or store any answers from the eligibility questionnaire: those answers stay in your browser and are never transmitted or saved to any database.
The clinical record created if you come in to donate is governed by applicable health regulations and is not part of this appointment system.
How we use your data
To reserve your slot in the donation schedule, send your appointment confirmation and reminders (24 hours and 3 hours before), and to let you cancel your appointment.
We do not use this data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties for commercial purposes.
Transfers and processors
We use technology providers acting as processors to run the site, the appointment database, and email delivery. They process the data only on our instructions.
PENDING: HAIMA must confirm the final list of processors and their locations to publish here.
How long we keep it
Contact data tied to an appointment (name, phone and email) is kept for 90 days after the appointment date. After that, an automated process deletes it from our database along with the reminder history; only non-personal statistical records remain.
If you want your data deleted sooner, you can request it anytime through your ARCO rights.
Your ARCO rights
Under Mexican data protection law you may Access your data, Rectify it if inaccurate, request its Cancellation when it is no longer needed for the stated purposes, and Object to its processing. You may also withdraw consent and limit the use or disclosure of your data.
To exercise any of these rights, call 664 684 0613 or visit our facility. We will need to verify your identity before acting on your request.
PENDING: HAIMA must designate the official channel and response time for ARCO requests.
